How I Passed NCLEX-RN | My opinion on the Hurst Review

Hi everyone!

I have recently uploaded a vlog discussing my opinions and experience of taking the Hurst Review Live Course Review.

Please check out my YouTube Channel and leave any comments or questions below.

In addition to the content discussed in this video read below for my pro’s and cons.

  • PROS
  • Good reputation and pass rate
  • Only one study book, which helps to focus your studying
  • My nursing program pass rate has been in th high 90’s and previous students have used HURST to review and pass NCLEX
  • Cost $350
  • Live review option
  • Online videos you can rewatch
  • Consistent approach of teaching
  • Audio versions of videos are available
  • CONS
  • Videos feel old
  • Wish there was a way to do practice questions on the go
  • Day 1-3 are LONG. Sitting for 7 hours was rough, even with the small breaks in between lectures. (Would prefer a 4 or 5 day review with less information crammed in per day)
  • Pharmacology supplements online were available, but wish it was taught during Day 1 – 3
  • Not mentioned in my youtube vlog, see below for additional resources I used to pass my NCLEX-RN on my first try.

This book was great to learn how to prioritize interventions, choose the correct patient- nurse assignments, and how and what can be delegated.

    NCLEX RN MASTERY APP
    Unknown

This app was great for on the go studying. You can choose the topic of the practice questions. It syncs up with your mastery app account, which allows you to continue your test on your laptop or phone.

Don’t forget to leave any questions or comments below.

Thanks for reading, and good luck on your studies.

    -Sincerely,
